A player who is sent off with a direct red card, is sent off for the remainder of that game, and is suspended for the next game. Additional suspensions can be assigned by the tournament director for more serious offences – without any possible recourse. A trainer or official who is sent off by the referee must instantly leave the technical area and go to the changing room and is automatically suspended for the next game. In both cases, the minimum allowed distance to the technical area is 20 meters in each direction. Again, additional suspensions can be assigned by the tournament director for more serious offences – without any possible recourse.
